Amoxicillin good for chlamydia?

I've been taking amoxicillin for chlamydia for 5 days now with no relief.  It's still very painfull everytime I urinate.

On day 5 now, I have an odd taste in my mouth all day.  Is that normal when taking amoxicillin?

And if you have never tested for STD's before it might be a good time to do so.

You should never self medicate because it could be something else. You need to get a proper diagnosis and testing is the only way.
Also I urge you to use condoms.

So you have not been diagnosed by a Dr with chlamydia?

I'm an idiot.  This bottle is left over from my last bout 3 years ago.  The pharmacy online sent me 5 times the amount I ordered (500 pills, 500 mg).  So, I'm taking 3 per day for 10 days.

Did you get the medication from a Dr or did you self medicate?
