I am getting married in one month, and I can't stop worrying about the hives that I get between my legs. My fiancee and I are not sexually active for religious reasons. However, before we met I did engage in some sexual behavior. I have never had sexual intercourse, but have received (never given) oral sex several times from several different women.
These hives have worried me so much that I have been twice in the last 3 years to get fully tested for STDs. In both cases, the results were negative. I know that these are hives b/c I then went to my dermatologist and described my symptoms: small, burning/itching bumps that look like misquito bites between my thighs that only last for a couple of hours. After they are gone, there is no trace of them ever being present. She told me that if take the antihistamine that she prescribes, and that results in them not showing up, then they are definitely hives. I did take it and no hives showed up the whole time I was on it.
So, I know these are hives, and I know that I've been tested negative twice for STDs. Is there a chance there is something I'm missing and I may be putting my wife at risk in the next month when we have sex for the first time? I was told that there is no test for males having HPV, and I've also heard that sometimes HPV has no symptoms, and that hives are sometimes caused by viruses. My worry is that I may have something that has no symptoms, but that my body is reacting to and releasing histamine, which produces these hives. Am I being stupid? Am I even at risk for anything other than Herpes, Syphilis, Gonnareha, Chlamydia, or HIV having only had oral sex? These are the things I was tested for. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
