Are these symptoms related to any STD?
Hi Doctor,
I have an anxiety.I had gay anal sex on 3rd Aug,2012 without using condom,and I was at the recieving part.
After 2 days I started having fever and loose stools(stools with mucus). After that I have been diagonsed with acute proctitis,which cause lots of discomfort in stomach and abdominal pain.biopsy and colonoscopy has been done.I read the symptoms of hiv in google it says headache,low fever,stomach pain,sore throat which all I have and am still having all these.
I got tested HIV by rapid method on 7th August,2012 and 12th November,2012, both result came as NEGATIVE/NON REACTIVE.as still am having low grade fever and mucus stool passing and Kind of Anala itching sometimes. please tell me which other test do I need to take? and do I need to take any other HIV testing or this result can be confirmatory? [P.S. from august to november,2012 I was taking 3 medicines RIFAGAUT 400,NORMAXIN,VSL#3}]..
I am suffering from STD/HIV anxiety please help me out with your answer ASAP.

after saying all these symptoms to my doctor.he suggested me to take an VDRL test,HIV by elisa and HSB ag for hepatitis b.
are these tests enough to determine whether I have any STD or not?

you've asked your hiv questions on the hiv forum already.
enough time has passed you can get full std testing if you haven't already. you had unprotected sex so indeed you should be getting tested for it all.
