BV vs Yeast

I continue to have a fishy odor even after being treated for this a couple of times....it comes back.  I'm confused between bv and yeast though...last time i went in for fishy odor, she treated as a yeast infection with 7-day suppository (not monistat...needed a rx).  I'm now trying a product called Rephresh and i;ll see if that helps.  But, i wish there was a natural way of treating bv.  some articles say to dousch and some say that this could be the problem.  help?

I have a similar problem.  I find that during the summer when I'm playing rugby and have two hour long practices and team meetings right after, I'm more prone to yeast and BV issues.  I have found something that helps though.  Whenever I feel an infection coming on I take cranberry suppliments a couple times a day for a few days.  I used to have to be treated almost monthly but since I started taking the suppliments haven't had to treat since.

Your GYN is the best to diagnose and treat. You may want to have your partner treated also, as both yeast and BV can be passed from one partner to the next.
