Swollen Lymph Nodes-Do I have an STD?

Within the last 3 days I began to notice 2 swollen lymph nodes in my thigh/groin area on the right side.  A couple weeks ago, I had a sore throat, but I never took any medication, saw a doctor, or anything and it went away in a week or so.  At first I thought my swollen lymph nodes might have been a hernia, but it wasn't. The doctor I saw said I might have an STD, but there was no blood or leukocytes or anything like that in my urine.  He told me that there was some protein in my urine though.  He said it probably wasn't an STD, and it was caused by my sore throat.  He put me on antibiotics, and I've had 3 out of the 20 doses. The pain has subsided a little, but they are still swollen and tender to the touch.  However, I am still scared of the possibility of an STD.  The last time I had sex was 3 or 4 weeks ago, and my partner, the only girl I've ever had sex with, says that she is clean.  Could somebody please shed some light on this situation and provide some answers, assurance, or whatever?

well while it's on your minds, both of you get copies of your last testing and share them with each other so that you know for sure who was tested for what so that in the future, you know if there's even reason to worry or not!

Thank you.  She said she didn't have any STD's, and I believed her.  Maybe she does, and maybe she doesn't.  I hope the antibiotics will clear it up soon and I can put my mind at ease about an STD.

Just swollen lymph nodes and no other symptoms isn't likely to be a std.

Wait until you are done with the antibiotics and if you still have issues, go and be seen again.

Clean means you took a shower. You need proper testing to know your std status and most folks do not get it. Even most gals who think that they are getting it, only get their yearly pap test and don't realize that that isn't std testing.
