Can an STD survive this?

I've had groin/abdominal pain for 4 months now and there was a possibility I was exposed to an STD.

I have been on 3 days of Cipro, 5 days of Zitrhomax, and 5 days of Amoxicillin (all about 3 weeks apart from one another)

If I had Chlamydia/Gonorrhea/etc, could it have survived all this time in spite of those antibiotics?

I'd start with a uro.

would you suggest seeing a urologist or a gastroenterologist?

You should also ask for an ultrasound of your abdominal area.  Maybe you have a hernia.

I have been to the doc for these symptoms.

I was prescribed Cipro for 3 days...didnt work.

I was given a Z-Pack, which had me take a pill each day for 5 days I believe. I think they were 500mg pills.

I've been tested for STD's once when the symptoms started and once a few weeks ago. Negative for everything both times.

Doc did urinalysis and noted no infection. He did it again a couple months later. Same result.

However, I've got pain in my groin (right and left) and it tends to follow the crease in my leg and I actually feel ti in my hip ocassionally. Right side worse than left.

Also feeling an occasional dull ache in the appendix area. I'm going to schedule an appt with a Urologist because my doc can't seem to figure this out.

It might.  It depends on what the dose is for zithromax - have you taken 1 gm at once?  If you have, that would cure chlamydia and most causes of urethritis.

Cipro might or might not cure gonorrhea.  Its not the first line of treatment anymore, as many strains are resistant to it.

Amox won't kill any std.

Have you been to the doc for these symptoms?  You really need to be.
