if a person hasn't had a syphilis sore could you still have syphilis and if you can how would it get past on.
how rare is it to catch syphilis through protected sex i have never had a sore but might have other symptoms like hair loss and swollen lymph nodes after 7 months of having protected sex. i have had a full test after 10 days and was clear and i did buy some home kits later on which wear clear but dont no how accurate they are.

You can still have syphilis without showing obvious symptoms one of which is the syphilis lesion/sore. Syphilis infection can get passed on by skin-skin, mainly gential gential contact, the bacteria could be shedding from a less obvious lesion or one not visible (i.e., internal lesion) during sex. The bacteria also incubates on mucus membranes or sex fluids.
