red dots on penis after masturbation

Hi guys. I notice a few very light colored red dots on my glans after i masturbated yesterday. It doesn't itch, hurt or anything. its flat and today they are kind of gone.
I was wondering wt it could be? I've read on the forum that herpes would form blister and there would be liquid in it. The dots on my glans were just a few very light reddish color dots, not bumps and was kind of gone the next day.
I wonder what it could be? is it just some skin irritation or something caused by friction?

Yes I would also like to know how to prevent it from happening again because this same thing happened to me and I was afraid of an STD but I have been doing some research and I realized it is most likely just an irritation. So yes I would really like to know how to stop this from happening again!

i tried altering my stroke to below the glans and afterwards those red dots didn't appear. does that mean it was just an irritation?

If your masturbation involves direct dry friction on the glans, it is likely just irritation.

Also, if you are squeezing vigorously while stroking towards the glans, you could be forcing too much blood into the glans and causing slight ruptures, like bruises.

Try altering your masturbation to stroke below the glans, rolling the skin/foreskin up onto the glans as you stroke or using a lubricant.  If the condition does not repeat, then you can be confident it is irritation of one sort or another.
