Yes you can go to many places in America and get tested. Planned parent hood, STD clinics, other walk in clinics.
If you wait 2-3 weeks will it kill you...no. But if you do have some thing the symptoms could get worse.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm going out of town soon, for a week. I won't be able to see a doctor until around mid-November. I'm starting to doubt it's gonorrhea, maybe NGU or some other infection.
Are there clinics where I can just get tested without an appointment, or do I need to go to my doctor first? I'm not sure how this works.
If I wait 2-3 more weeks, will I be in trouble? I've read that, if left untreated, these things lead to other problems. Also, I'd really like to try taking the Azithromycin once, but isn't 1-2g an awfully big dose (aside from the resistance factor), especially if it turns out I don't have anything?
I wouldn't take meds without a diagnosis. It causes resistance to those meds.
I always wonder about those who say they have no time to see a doctor, yet are feeling poorly or are concerned enough to post on the internet. What could be more important to spend your time on than your health?
If you have gonorrhea, azithromycin might not cure it. You should really get tested to find out if you have it, and talk to your doc about the possible side effects of the zoloft.
