Chlamydia help...

I was recently infected with chlamydia, I haven't had sex in several months but a few weeks ago I was fooling around with a girl and my penis came into contact with her vagina though we didn't end up having sex. A few days later I started feeling tingling sensations towards the tip of my penis. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with chlamydia and tested negative for gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV, I was prescribed the 1000mg dose of zithromax, I took the pills and ate two hours after I took the pill (the directions said take 1 hour prior to eating). Tomorrow will be the 2 week mark since I took the zithromax and I still have been feeling such symptoms as the same tingling near the tip of my penis, my left testicle feels really sore from time to time, and I have also noticed some tingling around the anus. I am scared out of my mind as one would imagine, I'm wondering if it could be herpes that I contracted along with the chlamydia? Or perhaps the dosage hasn't killed the chlamydia completely... I am allergic to penicillin and amoxicillin and have a great immune system, I usually one get sick a few times a year... Could my body have rejected the antibiotics? I have an appointment with the doctor again next monday I just need some reassurance as to what is going on, its driving me crazy, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. :(

You should get tested for syphilis. A quick simple blood test. Your symptoms sound like syphilis. Syphilis can lay dormant for up to 10 years but can cause severe nerve damage even brain damage.

I'd have them check your prostate.  Its possible the infection spread there, and you'll need a different medication to cure that.

Its not herpes or HIV or anything, if that's what you are wondering.  They wouldn't give symptoms like this.
