Chlamydia not going away

I was diagnosed with chlamydia on January 2nd after a pap smear. I believe I caught it 2 weeks previous when I slept with a new guy. My symptoms were uti Symptoms and a bit of yellowish discharge. I took 1000 mg of azithromycin, but it seemed to do nothing. I called and got sent macrobid thinking it was a lingering uti caused by the chlamydia. This also did nothing. I went back to a clinic and got retested positive for chlamydia again 2 weeks later. Took azithromycin again with no relief. Went back another 2 weeks later to planned parenthood, she did a wet mount and said she saw white blood cells, so prescribed me doxycycline without running my urine since it could have been a false positive. Anyways, the doxycycline seemed to help the uti symptoms until it was finished, now I feel the same as before. Really confused??? Going back into the clinic Monday to get tested and probably prescribed something else. What could be causing this? I have had no symptoms besides uti symptoms and a yellowish discharge.
