Cold like symptoms for a month, what can it be

I have been having a cough for a month now, runny nose, stuffy nose,  headeaches here and there. Sometimes i wake up in the morning with a bad sore throat then it goes after during the day..I feel warm at times but no fever. what can this be?  i feel tired at times as well. just cant shake this cold off. My chest really hurts for a couple days do but now Im fine. I just have the runny, stuffy nose, coughing, alof of plem in my throat symptoms and sore throat from time to time.

why would i have a cold for a month? is is something more serious going on with my body? Does this mean I have a low immune system due to a serious problem or infection I caught?

please help me,. thanks.

Ask a Dr, we can't say what a cold is or is not going to do. They are not STD symptoms.

Hi and welcome, you might want to post this in the general health forum. If you have the flu it could last a month as is not a typical cold virus. Influenza is contagious and you could be having it passed back and forth. You might want to see our GP and get some medication. They might prescribe antibiotics. Are you the age where you should get a flu shot?
