Complicated matter

Hi all. A few weeks ago, I just met a beautiful lady that I really liked. We hung out a few times when she called me 1 day to let me know that she was at the hospital. The reason was an inflammation of the pelvic. I just thought it was a routine disease. She was in excruciating pain but her antibiotics made the pain go away. Fast forward 6 days and we took a trip together and had unprotected sex (this was on 8/31). 3 days later I learned that her pelvic inflammation was caused by Gonorrhea. We talked about it and she said that the antibiotics cured it and I had nothing to worry about. I find it hard to believe that Gonorrhea would be cured in a such a short period and now I am waking up every day expecting the worst. I am just waiting to wake up 1 day with pain on my penis.
Also, my understanding is that a high percentage of Gonorrhea patient also carry HIV but she said that the hospital tested her for everything and that she didn't have it. However, she slept with the guy that passed Gonorrhea to her on 8/18, so he may have passed HIV to her as well but her test came back negative because it was too soon after intercourse to get conclusive results. If she happens to have contracted HIV from that guy, what are the chances that she passed that on to me? Also, she is going for another test on Tuesday to prove to me that she is now Gonorrhea free and that I have nothing to worry about. I will get tested as well but I just wanted to get some feedback on here.
Thanks all.

Hypothetically, if she contracted HIV 2 weeks prior to sleeping with me, can she still pass it on to me although it's not detectable on her that soon? (she had an HIV test while at the  hospital and it came back negative). Sorry for the stupid question.

just because you have gonorrhea, doesn't mean you have hiv. Certainly discuss all std's and testing before resuming sex with this partner so you know if you have to worry or not. make sure herpes testing for you both is also part of your std testing.

Thanks. She received her Gonorrhea shots and treatment Wednesday and we had sex the following Wednesday.
What about the HIV concerns?

we recommend waiting a full week before resuming sex after treatment for gonorrhea.

you need to wait a full week after you had sex with her before you get your own gonorrhea testing done.
