Unprotected Oral

I had a brief encounter of unprotected sex (blow job) given by the masseuse in a Massage parlor. I ejaculated in her mouth within less than a minute. What is the potential risk i carry, especially HIV & other STD's.

I have been having burning sensation in my penis, but no discharge or any visible cuts.

Do i have to abstain sex with my spouse until some time till i have some tests or can have protected sex?

I had also posted this one one STD-International forum, but have not received any response.

you have active symptoms that you've had before and I assume never followed up on . Go and be seen today and get this looked at. Since these are not new symptoms for you, ask for a type specific herpes igg blood test too to see what your status is as well as a lesion culture for herpes. cover your bases.

were you ever at big risk for std's from your unprotected oral sex? no you were not.  follow up on this because you've had these before and you don't mention follow up testing for these symptoms, not because of the encounter you had. make sense?

After 13 days of the above incidence, have a small blister (may be like herpes) on the shaft of penis. Such blisters/sore have occurred once or twice a year in past either on penis or testicles.

I haven't gone for any tests so far as there weren't any symptoms so far.

Am i correct to say that it is herpes & not any other STDs'. Is there any major concern to be worried about & Should i need to go in for elaborate STD tests or only opt for Herpes treatment.

Of course having protected sex would prevent it. But as you were told...low risk activity. And up to you to test, but we normally don't recommend testing unless symptoms present.

With reference to my above post & have only doubts of STD's, should i worry about further transmission to my partner or having protected sex will prevent it.

Thanks for the response, however, does protected sex will help to prevent any possible transmissions to my partner in this period of uncertainty.

For conclusive tests: gonorreha, and NGU, test on or after Monday 10/25/10 (1 week); and herpes test on or after 1/17/11 (3 months).

The answer to you last question is really up to you.  But you should in my opinion.
If you don't see anything show up for the next 3 -4 weeks then you didn't get herpes from it, herpes usally forms within that time frame, but nothing appears maybe 4  months later, so the only way to know is to test.

If i were to test for any STD's for peace of mind, which once should i consider, the incidence has been 3 days ago.

Hi

I don't see any real reason to test from your exposure (oral sex)  for any STDs.
It was low risk activity.
If you develop symptoms then you should test, in the mean time try to forget about it.

HIV is not transmitted by Oral sex. Please refer HIV questions to the HIV forum.

Whoever told you that it is not possible to get HIV from oral sex is misinformed.  Although your risk is quite low if there is any blood contact (bleeding gums, small sores etc, small penis tears) it is still possible.  Either way, you have put yourself and your spouse at risk for STDs and should be tested.

It is widely mentioned on other forums that oral sex pose no risk as far as HIV is concerned, then how come your opinion about testing for HIV

My recommendation is to seek medical help immediately.  You do not want to put your spouse at risk.  You should be tested for STD's including HIV.  You have to be aware that you are probably not her first "customer"
