STD or something else?

I'm wondering if what I have is potentially an STD (herpes, specifically) or something else.

I had unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a woman who I know 25 days ago. She tells me that she's clean and was last checked 4 months ago. I had been drinking heavily (which I don't normally do) for 3 days. The following night (still day 1), I started to feel sick, and the next 2 days I had a fever and am extremely worried that I caught something, so I went to the doctor and they said it looked like an upper respiratory infection.

Day 4 I begin to feel a rash in my thighs and my jeans hurt a bit on my inner thighs and for the next 2 days, it hurts after I pee and experience a lot of pain in my penis and bladder. My friend who is a urologist says that it's probably all in my head, and the pain completely disappears the following day. I never had any sores or anything as far as I can tell.

2 weeks later, I get a sore throat, and that night, again I develop the painful bladder/penis symptoms, along with the painful burning sensation in my thighs (which seemed to result from rubbing against my jeans) and I went to the doctor again, and she said that it did not sound like herpes. I did a urine test, and they said there was microscopic blood, but they had to send it out. The painful bladder/penis has continued for 6 days as I still wait for the test results to come back.

Everybody I spoke to said this does not sound like herpes, however I'm freaking out. Does anybody have any insight? A number of people have said that due to my constant worrying, much of this could be all in my head.

Thank you.

Hi, none of what you mention suggests any std and would appear all in your head.
