Unsure of what is going on at this point.

So here's my back story. Middle of December I had sex with a friend while visiting them in NYC. Symptoms of an STI started to show within a day or two after that. When I returned home to Canada, I got tested, and came back positive for gonorrhea. Since I demonstrated pretty evident symptoms at my initial clinic appointment, they treated me at that time with the shot in the butt and four pink pills. Symptoms started to go away, but never fully disappeared. When I returned for my initial test results, I told a different doctor of my still present symptoms, and he said they should go away since I was given the right medication, and to drink more cranberry juice.
Just after Christmas I was fed up that I still has a small amount of discharge over the course of the day, and a little irritation. I went back in to get tested to ensure the gonorrhea had gone away, since at this point I worked myself up to believing that I had drug resistant gonorrhea. My subsequent test came back negative, and was told that the infection was cleared up, but there might be some "residue" causing the discharge. He gave me this one pill to take, which in the end did little. I believe it was called Cefixime (I learned from the most recent doctor that that pill does very little for gonorrhea).
Finally, last week I went to the a local public health clinic geared towards gay men, and was checked again. The doctor gave me four pink pills again, as she diagnosed me on visual of an NGU. It's been 4.5 days since I took those pills, and some discharge still exists. I am waiting again for further tests on the gonorrhea, but assume they will come back negative.
If this is not gonorrhea or chlamydia, then what possibly could be causing this discharge still after taking antibiotics twice?

Often when the uretha has been tramatized with germs like Gono it produces mucus to sooth irritated healing areas but this has been going on to long to be related to he Gono last december. What i would suggest is to have the discharge swab again. Ive had Gono a few times in my life and always cleared up in a couple of weeks with no lingering symptoms. If your still having a discharge and urethra irritations then have another follow up with your doc and another swab of the discharge. Gono can be a nasty little bug.

When I was positive for gonorrhea it was a yellow discharge, but now it's more of a cloudy white discharge.
