Do I have an STI?

I had unprotected sex and preformed oral sex about two to three days before getting these symptoms, I have what almost looks like a rash around my vaginal area that have things that almost look like white heads and its extremely irritating, I also have a really bad odor and around the same time of getting these symptoms I got my period and its almost like a sharp pain when I try putting a tampon in (which I know can be a sign of chlamydia) I also have a very swollen tonsil in the back of my mouth and it hurts so bad that I can barely swallow. I go to college right now and when I went to my health service center that my college provides, she was very quick to dismiss my symptoms and said that its probably a rash from my period or a yeast infection and my tonsils were just because I was sick, I had a pill perscribed to me for yeast infections but it has seem to do nothing. Is it possible that I have a yeast infection in my mouth and vagina? Or do I have an STI? Is whats happening in my mouth retaliated to whats happening with my vagina? Or should I just listen to the doctor who told me not to worry?

Hi i agree with the diagnosis that its related to the yeast and listen to the doctor but if you have a long term partner then test for all stds, for their protection not that you did catch something. Symptoms of std,s like gono and chlamydia would be a white puss discharge coming from your Urethra and burning while urinating but it could lay dormant inside your vaginal area not showing symptoms. Things like herpes would be genital blisters and with Trich a green discharge. If your still concerned then do a complete std test.
