Do i have syphilis ?

I have recently (past two months) taken part in unprotected anal sex with my girlfriend and no problems arose but i yesterday noticed a small spot on the back of my penis not where the foreskin has been pulled back just on the skin. However i also regularly shave the pubic area around on my penis and the day after the spot arose. This has made me confused about the cause of the spot is it simply a reaction to shaving or is it a symptom of syphilis ? I have also looked at pictures of syphilis and my spot looks nothing like the chacre more like common acne and also none of the pictures show the charce on the skin of the penis they are all where the foreskin has been pulled back. Can anyone provide any help ?

I doubt very much if it is syphillis, it does sound more like a reaction to when you were shaving.  Keep an eye on the spot and if it becomes inflammed or pus filled then a you may need some antibiotics.  If you are going to practice anal sex then it is best to do it safely and use a condom, there is a lot of bacteria in the anus which could cause a nasty infection (I'm not talking about STD's here) which would be very uncomfortable.  Also make sure that you wash thoroughly afterwards and do not insert your penis into her vagina following anal sex as this will transfer bacteria also.  Hope this helped.
