STDs Infectivity with Oral Sex on Insert Partner

Hi Vance 2235,

I am re-posting on a new thread as requested.
From one of your previous thread you mentioned the risk of gonorrhea transmission is low for oral.
Just wanted to know your thoughts.

Here is my situation.

A female sex worker performed oral on me briefly. To lubricate, she spitted saliva on the tip of my penis. She uses her tongue to lick the crown as well as the opening of my penis head and also around my testicles. Her entire mouth covered penis during the oral sex.The entire event lasted briefly (2 mins). I did not see any signs of cuts on my penis or genitals.

I am not certain is she has any STDs.

Q1 : Assuming she does have all the STDs, what level of risk, based the infectivity of each of them, will i be subjected to in my above circumstance?

Q2 : When is the best time to do a STD test (30 days post ?)
Q3 : what do I need to watch out for over next few days....
Q4 : It has been 5 days and I have not seen anything on my penis & testicles. Is it a good sign? How long do it need to observe?

Thank you for your attention

Hi Vance,

On the 10th day after my exposure to unprotected insertive oral sex, I took Zmax (2g Azithromycin, single dose). My intent is for preventive measure against Gono, NGU & Syphilis.

So far, 16 days post exposure, nothing observed on penis.

In your experience, is this sufficient?
Do I need any follow-up or tests?

Your advise appreciated.

Can't say. Just know that for both the risk is low.

Was trying the rationalize logically..... What's your thoughts?

The chances of stds ulcers & warts growing in the mouth is of lesser chance? As compared to that growing on the male genitalia?

If this is so, the insertive partner has lower exposure?

Risk profile is just about the same between the 2. What do you mean how is it determined?

1. Low risk for gonorrhea, NGU, herpes, HPV and syphilis.
2. Gonorrhea and NGU-1 week, Syphilid-6 weeks, Herpes-3-4 months
3. Discharge
4. Yes it is. I would not look for anything because when you do you will find something that you will think was not there and will go into a panic over it.

Overall the risk is low and Dr's on this site do not even recommend testing.
