Flatish Bump on my Scrotum

I'm not sure if this is something I need to be concerned with as the symptom appeared so quickly, but I had a one-night stand last night and when I woke up five hours later there was a small bump on my scrotum. It's kind of flat with a dimple on top. It's no more sore than a pimple or an ingrown hair would be.

I used protection, but obviously my scrotum wasn't protected. I don't want to violate the TOS by posting a picture. I don't have insurance, so it's difficult to go see a medical provider, but if you think it could be serious I'll find a way.

Timing of symptom. Takes at least 2 days for any type of STD symptom top show. And anything that would come with bumps or anything like that takes a coupel of weeks.

Thanks Vance. I'm not overly concerned, as I couldn't think of any STD with an incubation period as short as five hours :) My first assumption was that a sebaceous gland got infected or that it was just acne. I guess I was just checking to see if anyone had experienced anything similar, and whether or not anyone felt there was the possibility of it being STD related before making the large investment of seeing a doctor.

Out of curiosity, and I know you can't answer with any certainty since you're not my doctor, but what made you lean towards the "not an STD" side so quickly?

We don't look at pictures here because we can't diagnosis you.

I can tell you that this is not STD related. And to see a Dr if concerned.
