Genital STDs

Hey guys,
I had a protected sex with a women I don’t know her status. Anyways, we had kissing and i sucked her nipples for a bit. She didn’t suck me or anything. All we did is kissing and sex with condom the whole time. 2 days later, i had a light diarrhea, but i had a fast food as a dinner the day before. Also when i woke up, one of my eyes were a bit red, and the redness started to go away which could be a lack of sleeping (not sure). The last thing that panicked me is i found a tiny whitehead on the bottom of my penis. It’s only one pimple and it’s painless. What could that be?

NO STDs show symptoms just two days after and exposure. Kissing and sucking nipples would have never exposed you to any STD. The can expose you to mononucleosis, flu, etc.

Your sexual encounter was protected. Some STDs can be spread even when condoms are used. I am talking about syphilis, herpes and HPV. You can test for these ones as follows:
-6 weeks after the exposure, for syphilis, and if your result is negative, repeat it 3 months after the encounter, as there are people that take longer to show a positive result.
-3 months after the encounter, for herpes.

Thank you for your reply. Even if i get one of these STDs, should i be worry about them? Because as i read that syphilis can be completely cured with a medication and herpes is not scary as most people have it. Also HPV can go away by itself. My only concern is HIV and since i used a condom do i need to get tested?

Thank you again
You do not need to test for HIV. Unless you get symptoms of herpes or syphilis (blisters or sores), I wouldn't worry about those, either, since you used a condom and condoms reduce the chances of those.

Well, unfortunately i had some unprotected sex in the past as i wasn’t aware of HIV and other stds. So last time i had unprotected sex was in April 2018. After that i had a phobia about STDs especially HIV. So i have done about three 4th gen tests. On May 21st,2018 i had a 4th gen hiv test and came back negative. I couldn’t stop worrying about it. Then on August 17th,2018 had STDs test and my second 4th gen and all came back also negative. but I can’t stop worrying because of the multiple high risk exposure. The doctor told me that I’m fine, I couldn’t really understand the tests names. There was no specific test name like for example (syphilis test, or HPV), there was many shortcuts like (ALT, AST and many others).  Last week i was reading the paper and found out my HSV igg 1 is positive around 45.0 H, but I can’t understand why the doctor didn’t tell me about it. is it because herpee is normal and doesn’t affect my life ? I have never had any symptoms like sores or anything, and that’s what brought all the concerns back. Sorry for the long story.
About half the adult population has hsv1, though your doctor should have told you. You probably got it as a child, like most people do, and 90% will never have symptoms.

All of your August tests are conclusive, and your HIV test was probably conclusive in May, depending on when you had sex in April.

If you can get the lab results, I can tell you what the tests were for.

ALT and AST are liver tests, and have nothing to do with STDs.

Some common STD tests would be listed as RPR, VDRL, HSV IgG, along with a few more. Gonorrhea and chlamydia tests are usually pretty easy to tell, and there is no HPV test for men.

So listen, and breathe when I tell you this - you have hsv1, and it won't affect your life overly much, but you can still transmit it to others. If someone already has it, they can't get it again from you. If they don't, you could transmit it by kissing or by performing oral sex. Herpes sheds - it's called asymptomatic viral shedding - and oral hsv1 sheds about 25% of days a year. This doesn't mean you WILL transmit at this time - it depends on how much virus is present, what activities are done, etc., etc., and there is no way you know when this is happening.

Just inform your partners, ask them to be tested, and LET THEM make an informed decision. Most people don't give a single crap about hsv1.

And I have to suggest counseling. Your anxiety level for this is too high given the information you've given, and you have said you have an STD phobia, and "you can't stop worrying". Science tells us you can. Talk to your doctor about your anxiety, and ask about counseling and/or medication, whatever may be appropriate for you.

I really appreciate it. I kinda feel better now. I will send you a copy as soon as possible.

Regarding ALT and AST, do they have to do anything with hepatitis? If they are in range should i assume that im not infected with hepatitis?

Sorry for too many questions. I feel like I’m alright and don’t have anything to worry about, but it’s just hallucination.
"Just hallucination"?

ALT and AST can indicate hepatitis, but to be sure you don't have viral hepatitis, you need to have specific tests. The most common one to be sexually transmitted is hepatitis B, and depending on where you live and your age, you were likely vaccinated against that as a child.
Yeah actually i was vaccinated as a child, but i heard that it’s effect goes away at a certain age and it needs a booster.
According to the CDC, most healthy people do not need a booster - https://www.cdc.gov/hepatitis/hbv/bfaq.htm#bFAQd09

You can find out if you have immunity with a simple blood test from your doctor, but I'd assume you are protected if you are otherwise healthy.
