Got tested for chlamydia and it was positive.

I started having symptoms of chlamydia , like the yellow discharge and a odor to it. The odor was so bad I felt so disgusted . So I went to the doctor and got tested for chlamydia and when the test results came back it was positive. So the doctor prescribed me a single does of azithromycin 500mg . After the first day of taking it I noticed a big change . The heavy discharge was gone and the odor. And as of today it'll be my third day after taking this and I noticed that I have like milky white discharge but it's not alot and the smell isn't compared to what it use to be but it's still there. I'm also itchy , it'll come and go. I called the doctor today and they had me come in for a urine sample and I'm waiting to see if it's a UTI or anything like that. I don't know what could be causing the smell or discharge still ? I'm thinking it could be BV. What do you think? I also have a appointment in three weeks to get retested for chlamydia. Is there a possibility it could turn out to be a false positive?

Hi, im assuming your female and the itching and yellow discharge was coming from your urethra? If so is the white also coming from your urethra or  discharge from your vaginal area?

I am female. Sorry I forgot to mention that. And yes they were coming from there the urethra ? I'm not sure. But the discharge itself isn't having any smell to it anymore. I'm guessing the medicine I'm on to cure my sti is helping that. But there is still a non pleasant odor in my yooha but it's not as strong as it use to be.
