HELP!! PLEASE!! FLESH COLORED BUMPS IN BACK OF THROAT EVERYWHERE!

well i had kissed a guy like 3 weeks ago. I noticed a sickness sort of like mono but then what suprised me was that there were flesh colored bumps near my tonsil area. My left lymph node is swollen and sticks out. I produce alot of phlegm in the morning. Now my whole tonsil area is covered in flesh colored bumps and i have two of them on the sides near my tonsils. But my tonsils are so swollen that they touch together! it got worse. I told the doctor but she didnt say much on it at all. just might be mono but I think it's something more. i dont know what to do. Has anyone had this? i think it's a virus because I didnt have sex or oral. just kissing so i know it can be spread by kissing. Im suposed to take a blood test soon.so any help/advice please???? much apperciated!!!

I said you aren't going to get a std from kissing, not that you won't contract any other sort of germ from kissing.

Return to your provider if these are new symptoms from when you were last seen.  they can refer you to an ENT specialist if needed too.

Have you seen your provider yet about this? Did they do any throat cultures or other testing?

you aren't going to get a std from just kissing.
