scared

I recently had unprotected oral sex with a male ( I only received), we also did some french kissing. Im now worried sick that I have picked up something I understand the risk of HIV is very low, however Syphilis can occur during both recieving oral and french kissing. This was just under 2 weeks ago and im going out of my mind with worry, Im also sure that I have a bump/sore on the roof of my mouth. I dont know what to do.

the risk of a std from receiving oral is very low.

you won't contract a std from french kissing.  Not many folks have std's orally to begin with and they don't transmit well from smooching.  Not sure why so many folks are convinced that kissing is a risk for a std!

we don't even recommend std testing from receiving oral unless you develop any symptoms. If you have another partner involved and want to cover your bases, so be it but it's really not worth the money to routinely test.

always best to only give and receive protected oral if it isn't a regular partner. it protects you from std's as well as keeps you from worrying so much :)
