HPV in men, is there a way of knowing which strain you have been infected with?

Hey guys,
it seems I got infected with HPV. Is there a way for my doctor to sample that wart and determine what kind of hpv I have been infected with. Moreover if its a low strain HPV if its still possible to get vaccinated?

Yes, they can biopsy the wart and let you know what strain it is, and yes, you can still get vaccinated.

Talk to your doctor, or preferably a dermatologist.

Thank you very much, I'll go ahead and do that.
Let us know what happens, and good luck. :)
I went to a clinic and the person who sees STD's in charge told me I didn't have HPV. Instead, it seems I have a mole. It seems that the mole is benign.
Congrats. :)
Thank you!
