PLEASE HELP!! SO SCARED....question about HSV2, do I have it????

I had protected sex with HSV2 positive girl about five days ago.
I am a 23 yr old guy.
We had sex twice both times with a condom.
She gave me brief oral without a condom.
I did not give her oral.
She was absolutely clear of any lesions and informed me that she has never broken out.
I know its posible for transmission even without lesions and maybe even with a condom on.

Should I be as concerned as I am right now about HSV2?
What is the probability that the virus was transmitted to me?

I am starting to date a new girl and I really like her but I don't want to expose her to anything and it is also making me depressed about the probability of having gotten HSV2.  I never have sex outside of relatiomships (three months or more) and am really regretting this... :(

PLEASE HELP!!

Really - us gals with hsv2 aren't walking biohazzards!!  The risk of contracting hsv2 from a one time ( yeah I know it was twice in one night ) protected enounter are pretty darn small when there are no symptoms present. It can happen but it's more likely not to happen.  It's totally up to you if you even feel it's worthwhile doing any follow up testing in 2 or 3 months.  If you do - I"d do it more for just because it's a good thing to do periodically more so than just because you had sex with someone who was hsv2+.  meanwhile you and your current gal will both have plenty of time to get to know each other well as well as to get tested for all std's so you both know your status before becoming intimate.

I can understand your fear, but I really think you need to try to relax. You had protected sex, and although condoms aren't perfect, they do offer a great deal of protection from STDs. HSV2 is rarely found orally, and when it is, the number of days when the virus is active is very small. If this girl has HSV2, she likely has it genitally, in which case you had the condom to offer more protection. If you remain symptom free, you likely have not acquired HSV. If you need piece of mind, have a blood test to determine your HSV status.
