Hand infected with herpes?

I was recently with a woman who afterwards told me she has genital herpes. No oral, vaginal, or anal sex occurred and I washed my hands afterwards. What is the risk I have contracted genital herpes from fingering her vagina. What action would you suggest I take next? Thank you.

I'd suggest taking no action. The risk of her infecting your hand if you had no cuts on it (and I'd hope you aren't fingering anyone with cuts on your hand) is zero. Even if you had small cuts on your fingers, the chances are really low. Unless you get symptoms - and herpetic whitlow (herpes on the fingers) is painful, so you won't miss it - I wouldn't worry at all.
