Help please freaking out

So here's my story I had sex with a girl of unknown status and about 2-4 weeks after the encounter I had sore throat swollen lymph nodes in my neck(under my jaw,and on side) some diarrhea and this lasted only a few days.I had no fever or rash or anything else.but still what led ke to worry was I searched my symptoms on the Internet and the first thing was HIV.so I had been stressed about it prior.I got a test at about one and a half to two months and it was negative.which eased my kind but I'm still worried about the whole thing and check myself for symptoms.no one I had sex with after the incident and before I started worrying eer had any symptoms but still I worry.my most recent relationship was 9 months and we had sex and she never had any signs or anything (btw i did tell her about my worries and fears before us having sex and shensaid inwas being stupid)so yea I guess my question is do I still have a right to worry or qm I doing as my ex said and being stupid and to worried about the whole thing.thanks for your time

Thanks for the response but it didn't really answer my question was the test a false or was there enough time to be sure I haven't been worrying near as much now.but I still do sometimes and since no one I've been with since has shown any signs of it is that evidence I don't have it or should I be worried still I mean with a negative test and no fever or anything that is the most.common symptom should that be conclusive enough to knoe im truly negative

Hello

I do NOT  think your stupid.  Having unprotected sex is like playing --- I think a good doctor called it, "Sexual Russian Roulette" ---of course there are more empty barrels for HIV.

As for other STDs, the risk is a bit higher, and its still there.   Your sexual health is important, and you should share those views with others.   Get tested and wear condoms --they work.
