So confused

I have had only one partner (my husband) until a couple of nights ago.  I was with him once, I received oral, and we had sex.  We used a condom and he pulled out when he came.  He has been with many girls, but said he is clean and was tested a month ago.  Now, I am feeling so much regret and worry.  What are my chances that something could have been contracted?  Should I go get tested or am I over reacting?  All of this is new to me.  Thanks.

Thank you!  I am going to make an appointment to talk to my Dr and see what they suggest.  You certainly helped put my mind at ease.  Now I just have to deal with the guilt that is plaguing me.

Condoms are 99.9% successful against std's when used properly and they don't break. HPV and HSV can still be transmitted through any area not covered by the condom but without visible outbreaks, your chances are relatively low with HSV.  I do not know the risk with HPV.

STD from oral sex is very very rare.  Unless you get weird symptoms that you know are not normal for you, then see a doctor and get tested.  Or go anyway. That is your choice.
