Herpes and HIV risk
I'm worried that I might have contracted HSV2 or HIV
3 months ago I went to a massage parlor and had protected vaginal sex, and finished with a handjob with the condom off.
I regretted my decision and was able to get a blood test a day later showing myself negative for any stds and prescribed PEP and Famciclovair in which I took PEP daily for 30 days and Famciclovair for 14 days.A couple days into the famciclovair I had itching in between my groin with a red rash and may have scratched myself so much into causing myself to bleed in the groin. My physician said it was a heat rash and it has gotten better by applying lotion daily to the area. Since then I have had occasional pain in my armpits and groin possible lymph nodes, however I have had no blisters or sores on the penis or scrotum. I do however have had recently left inner thigh pain occasionally and have what looks like small bumps with a dark center in my pubic hair region which may be ingrown hairs. I had not pain urinating or any discharge aswell. However i have constant tingling and itching for the past three months in my inner thighs and groin, but this might be due to extreme anxiety.
My physician is optimistic in me being std free and in another month I am getting retested for all possible studs,but I was still wondering my chances of catching either one of these diseases?
