Throat Infection from Anilingus

I had performed oral sex on a masseuse two weeks back. I performed cunnilingus mostly on her clitoris and labia and also performed anilingus. Within a week i had a throat infection with white discharge. I am guessing i got it from the anilingus because she was visibily clean with no visible anomaly on her private parts.

I had chills with mild fever on and off and pain in the legs wich i still have. The throat infection is painless. I had a swab test for Gonococci and VDRL but both came negative negative. But the swab test showed Gram Positive Cocci in group and small chain. I am guessing it is the bacterial infection i caught from the anilingus.

Upon seeing the tests the doctor prescribed me Clotrimazole mouth paint, Azithromicin 500 mg for 3 days and Fluconazole 150 mg on alternate days.

It has been 5 days since i have been taking the prescription but there is no visible changes in the throat infection. Infact my tongue and palate has turned numb due to the constant use of mouth paint.

I hope it's not a serious bacterial infection as i have read that there are some nasty gram positive bacterias too. I would be more than humbled if any good doctor in the forum can guide me to proper medication for this infection.

Thanks for your help in advance.
