How soon will an STD show up

I am a married man and did a stupid thing. 4 days ago I performed oral sex on an exotic dancer. She said she came to climax so I assume I injested her vaginal secretions. About 2 days after the act, I started feeling discomfort in the neck and assumed it was my lymph nodes. I have had a queezy stomache and what feels like a low grade fever although the thermometer did not register a fever. Basically, I am freaking out that I caught something and wondering if I should get tested. I have no sore throat and the "warm" sensation does not persist although the neck discomfort has remained. Please let me know if you think I am overreacting and more likely have a flu or if I should get tested for HIV, or other std's. Thank you.

2 days is too soon for anythign to show up. Your risk was syphilis and herpes and those are low risk. I would not worry too much about it.

Im sure your feeling the guilt more than anything.  Dr. HHH says oral risk is generally low risk for stds.  Definately dont worry about hiv, but it will probably make you feel better to get a test.  You have a small risk, but sometimes guilt makes us feel like there is more wrong than there really is.  Good luck
