If amoxicillin clears my symptoms of std should i still get tested?

A little over a week ago i had unprotected oral sex with a stranger. He did not ejaculate in or near my mouth. And didnt touch anywhere near my genitals. About a week later i had swollen tonsils with white spots. I went to the doctor and they did a strep stept which came out negative he prescribed me amoxicillin 500 mg 2 pills 2 timess day for 10 days for tonsilitis.  I am now freaking out thinking i have an std. Ive been taking the amoxicillin for 2 days and it has cleared my throat quite a bit. Do you think i should go get tested? Or should i wait and see if it clears up. I am married and have had sex with my husband 2 times since the encounter with the stranger. What do you think are the chances i infected my husband aswell.i am very stressed and would really  aprecciate some advice.

3-4 days is to soon for symptoms for gono to appear. really takes about 5-6
Go get tested and if your ok yoiur husband does not need testing.
Giving oral sex is really low risk activity and if the person did have gono i dont think he would let you give him oral as the pain would be to much.

Well the test came back negitive for strep and i was way to scared to tell him about my encounter. Also i started feeling the symptoms about 3 or 4 days after the encounter is that common?
Im going to go get tested later today regardless. If im clear of stds do you think it would be a good idea for my husband get tested too?

Hi giving oral sex is really low risk activity and no testing would be recommended with out symptoms but since your married test for the below for this protection.
1. Gono------7 days post esposure
2. syphilis---6 weeks
