Doxycycline against gonorrhea
Hi there. My doctor gave me 20 days of doxycycline 100mg pr day for gonorrhea. Will that clear it up?
I read that it is suppose to cure gonorrhea but also Cipro could do that.

Doxycycline is indicated to treat gonorrhea so a reasonable choice by your doctor to prescribe for you. Were you tested for it or did he just prescribe it? Cipro is also prescribed for gonorrhea. You can ask your doctor why he/she chose one over the other, but both are indicated to treat it.

Ok, got Cipro last because I have a history of getting epididymitis but always get a negative STD test. So he didn’t test just gave me doxycycline
