Is this Syphilis??

Hello Dr. I had sex with sex worker 10 days ago, after 7 days of encounter i got one pimple between my penis base and public hair area. After 2 days it becomes into open sore.Pus went out from it.It is not red in color and have a skin color, today is the 10th day and it is healing still open.I am worried if i have syphilis? It is unlikely to be detected at this early stage.Should i consult a doctor to ask him some antibiotics for syphilis? Is open sore always red because in my case it is skin color? could it be any other bacterial infection? i used condom but the base of my penis was not protected where the pimple came.Plz help me to give some directions..

I have read it can enter through skin to skin contact if the infected person has open sore.Pimple has almost recovered which gives me a bit of relief.Going to physician tomorrow,i don't think he will give a penicillin shot after looking at the healed sore.

Hi, to contract syphilis, the partner would need a active genital sore and you would need also a open sore for the germ to enter. Since you got the sore after the act it would not appear to  be related so syphilis. Also the average syphilis sore shows up 3 weeks after exposure so 7 days would also exclude syhpilis but see a doc if your concerned.
