Boyfriend gets sick after oral?

I been with my bf for almost a year.  The first time he went down on me he got real sick and had to go to the doctor for tonsillitis. I didn't think much of it back then. But during this whole time we have been together he has yet to go down on me again. So last week I asked him to go down one me. He did and the next day sick again. His throat was sore and he missed 2 days of work.

I have been checked out my my dr more than twice. Once before we even had sex and again after. They found nothing in the PAP or blood test.

We have unprotected sex all the time and he does not get sick after that. I am on birth control. We are a very STABLE relationship he will soon be my husband. ( so no cheating going on etc...)

I just don't get it why he gets a throat infection when he goes down one me ? could I have a yeast infection and not know it ?

An endocervical culture is where they swab the vaginal area and send it to the lab to see what grows.

Your bf should also have a culture of this throat to see what grows.

endocervical culture  what is this ?

He loves doing oral but is scared now. He gets sick its not a fake thing. the next morning his voice is all nasty sounding and, he gets headaches and fevers.

when he got the tonsillitis he had that pretty badly he had to go to the dr with someone because he was super sick. the tonsillitis took time tho.

when he did oral last week it was like like hours later ( next morning) voice throat sore then 24hrs or next day he got sicker.

I don't use wipes or anything like that ... I have no idea what it is

Maybe.  Have they done an endocervical culture on you to see if anything grows?

I also wonder about the timing.  He is developing symptoms REALLY fast.  Maybe he is having a reaction to something you use genitally - any wipes, scented anything, etc.

If it were truly bacterial, then it would take a couple of days before symptoms developed.  Or maybe he doesn't like oral and this is his way of avoiding it?
