Looking for advice

I am currently waiting for cultures, to determine whether I have an STD.  I didn't notice anything unusual, like small bumps. Until one day I used the restroom this past week, and once urine hit my skin, it burned.  The next day I noticed I had an abnormal discharge.  I went to a walk in clinic, and the doctor their noticed two ulcers on opposing sides.  He said that he didn't think it was herpes, because of the size.  He said that herpes usually appear to look like pimples.  But he said I should contact my doctor and be tested for syphilis. I contacted my OBGYN and we are currently waiting for my cultures to come back. They did notify me yesterday that my HIV and Hep C test came back negative.  I have been on websites and noticed that they say Herpes is painful, while Syphilis isn't.  The only pain I experience is if urine gets down there, or when the doctor used the swabs to do the culture. Otherwise, while walking or sitting I don't feel any pain. My question is, is Syphilis painful when it is touched or irritated?  Have you had any patients that experienced pain with syphilis? Also as I list my symptoms, does it sound like I have a case of herpes or syphilis.  I'm very scared.  I haven't been with anyone but this person within the past 9 months.

They did tell me I had a bacterial infection. I've had a yeast infection before and today it's kind of feeling like that.  My partner has not been for testing.  Hopefully I will have the rest of my results back by the beginning of this week.  I will then contact my partner and give him all the information they have given me.  I know that I have never experienced anything like this before, so I'm really scared.

At this point waiting for your test results is the best you can do. Anything, even just wiping too hard with toilet paper, will hurt when urine touches it.

Did they do any testing on your discharge for yeast and bacterial infections?

has your partner been for any testing yet?
