To grace or any hpv knowledgable

if you have a condom on and you get infected with hpv on the base of the penis, can warts appear where the condom covered, ie. the head

while we're talking about this, what about the same question with herpes

cant seem to find an answer to this question anywhere, thanks!

I am pretty sure HPV only affects the point of infection therefore the area that is covered with a condom is safe.

I don't know about herpes, sorry.

Herpes can cause symptoms anywhere in the entire boxer short area regardless of where the initial contact site was.

Hpv I believe tends to cause symptoms just in the area of contact but I might be wrong. Would be a good question to ask either HHH or Fred over on the asha std message board.
