been worried for way too long

About three months ago me and my girlfriend were going through a break up period.  It only lasted a weekend.  The bad part is, is during that weekend i messed up and had unprotected sex with a girl i know. (she said she is clean) a few days later i noticed my pubic area, especially between my legs and scrotum became very itchy.  I then noticed a little tiny red dot (not raised) on the base of my penis and right next to that is a sore? that looks like tiny veins that branch out. it is so small and can barely be seen.  I can feel it when i move certain ways. feels like a paper cut on the base of my penis.  I went to the health dept and got tested for everything. I also showed the dr. the spots.  he said its nothing "transferable" and im just worried.  I tried to not think of it but it has not gotn any better or worse. it just always feels like a paper cut.  the itching has gone away but the spots remain. Of course me and my girl got back together and im so scared i have something and dont know it and am giving it to her. Can this be stress related? i have never been this worried in my entire life. i wish things could just get back to normal.  all the test came back neg.  so naturally, now i have crazy ideas running thru my head like it is HIV or Hepatitis.  I feel like Ive lost weight, it feels like i have butterfly's in my stomach. it's getting stupid.....any advice for this scarred pup?    P.S.  I now want to go get test for HIV and hepatitis is this necessary?  thank you so  much in advance!

Aww I'm sorry about your gf - and its good you got tested then.

I'm guessing you don't have insurance, and you should contact your local health dept to see about free clinics.  No reason to have to pay so much for medical stuff.

And the good news - 2008 is almost over.  :)

Since i first posted on Nov 16 things have gottn better! but now im a few hundred dollars in the whole and me and my girlfriend are no longer.  After i went to the health clinic (all test neg) i went to my family doctor and got tested (blood) for HIV, Hepatitis, and herpes.  I was relieved to find out that all came back negative!  However i still had irritation down there.  about a week ago i started using jock itch spray and i have to admit it got alot better. However about a month ago i had made a apt with a urologist to see what going on. i had that apt today.  it took about 15 min and 200 dollars!! He told me that there is nothing to worry about and that it may be infected follicles. he also said that things take time to heal down there and thats why ive had the problem for a few months.   Its really been a bad few months but i hope to get all this behind me.  I still have a feeling in my stomach like its about to growl but never does. I hope this is just anxiety because i cant keep running to the doctor. I also found out that my girl has been cheating on me for a few months. I hate 2008.

No ideas - it doesn't sound like any std.

thanks for commenting....

the place i went to is the county health dept.  they do the std check.  i have made an appointment with a Uroligist? (skin doctor). but i never had this problem before the sex act.  and i want to go back to the health department to be checked again.  the dot just looks like a tan dot not raised, no bump or discharge. the other spot that causes discomfort looks like a tiny papercut with veins branching off..again this is so small but causes discomfort....any ideas?

HIV and Hep wouldn't give you symptoms like this, so you can relax about that.

I hate doctors that say things like "its nothing transferable" - what does that mean it is, then?

Have you tried going to an std clinic?  Many times they are better at diagnosing things, even things that aren't stds.
