Is it possible to get syphilis even if I got treatment having no symptom?

Hello, received oral sex from a sex worker without eyaculating for less than 5 minutes. 5 days later I got tested for gonorrhoea and cllamydia and it was negative. I told my doctor that I was really worried 1 month after the sexual encounter and he gave me bicilum (penicillin) just because of that. I did not have any chancroid or anything. Can you please tell me if the chancroid or syphilis can appear in my inner right?, I see something there and I am not sure what it is. Getting treatment before the chancroid appears prevents the disease or the appearance of the chancroid?

Chancroid normally appears in the place where infection occurs. Oral sex exposes you to gonorrhea, syphilis and herpes, but the real risk is very low. Honestly I think you are overreacting. Your doctor shouldn't have given you treatment just because you were worried.

You should test as follows:
-3 weeks after the encounter, test for gonorrhea.
-6 weeks after the encounter, for syphilis, and if you get a negative result, repeat it 3 months after the exposure, as there are people that take longer to show a positive result.
-3 months after the encounter, test for herpes.

Try to relax, as the risk is low, and getting nervous is not going to change the final result.
All the best.

Thanks for your answer, but that does not explain if treated before the chancroid will make the chancroid not appear and be cured in case I had syphilis.

Do you know anything about that?

Thanks
