NSU after self treatment

I just got diagnosed with NSU today, which frankly surprises me a bit.

3 months ago I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker. Nothing that I'm proud of, because I have a girlfriend I love very much.

Two days after the exposure, I felt a discomfort in the tip of my penis and freaked out.

I started to self treat myself (clever, huh) and have been taking a lot of antibiotics:

- 1250mg ciprofloxa (500mg in single dose and 250mg twice a day)
- 1000+500mg azithromyzin in 2 days

Went to the doctor and got an urine test for STDs - came back negative. The doctor gave me an injection of something I don't know what was. He said it would clear up everything!!

Symptoms continued, so I started to self treat again:

- 400mg Cefixime (single dose)
- 1000 mg doxycycline (250mg twice a day for 5 days)

Symptoms disappeared and I met up with my GF and we have unprotected sex.

After a week or so, the symptoms came back and I started play doctor again.

- 1000mg ciprofloxacin (500mg for 2 day)
- 1500mg+1000mg+500mg Azithromycin (3 single doses for 3 days)
- 2000mg levofloxacin (500mg for 4 days)
- 1400mg doxycycline (250mg twice a day for 7 days)

In the period within the 4 last "treatments" I had sex with my girlfriend 3 times.

I've been taking the antibiotics over a period of 2.5 - 3 months.

Shouldn't the antibiotics I've been taken not have cleared up everything?

Would I be more likely to catch the NSU because of all the antibiotics I've taken? (read that too much antibiotic kills the good bacterias.

Could it be possible that she gave me the NSU?

If not, how likely am I to have infected her?

The doctor I saw today had put me on a 2x1000mg azithromycin for two days and 4x400mg metronidazole pr day for 7 days.

Do you think the treatment is appropriate?

Thank you

So I couldn't have infected my girlfriend with NSU?

You have way too much medication use to even guess what happened/is happening/going to happen.

NSU is often common bacteria found in the mouth among other places. It has not been shown to be harmful to women if they have sex with someone how has NSU.

At this point, just stop self medicating and only take what your Dr prescribes you.
