NSU questions

Hi everyone I am new to this site, so please bare with me.
I Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has been effected by nsu or who can advise, my concern is that everytime i get a check up i seem to have nsu with no other sti's detected, chlamydia came back negitive as did gonorrhea, Syphilis and hiv so all good news there. But my latest visit to the dr's was earlier today and was just to see if the antibiotics (1g of azithromycin) taken 14 days had cleared the nsu up . To my surprise it had not and got another load of antibiotics to take Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 7 days.
Is it unsual for nsu to be so stubborn, and if I passed all the other Sti check ups what would be causing it, is it something to worry about ?

I been very carful and cant work out in my head how i keep catching NSU when i not even been with anyone since my last test

the reason i got tested this time round is i am of travelling i wanted to make sure that it had not come back before i leave

any advice or help in my questions would be greatly taken

thanks

M s

Long-term i don't think has any effect and I remember reading from one of the Dr's on this site saying that NSu would have no harm on a woman. but that is only what i can remember.

For some reason it just seems like it is easier for you to get. Can't really say why.

No it is not a huge concern but something that should be taken care of and the doxy should work.

NSU is just foreign bacteria that gets into the uretha. But you said you you don't know how you keep catching NSU. Well since this is your 1st post how are we to know how many times you have gotten NSU?
