Oral Chlamydia and gonorrhea

If a person has these infections in their throat only is it also present in their genitals and seamen?   So could an oral infection be passed to a partners genutals via the infected persons genitals.

If someone has oral gonorrhea and/or chlamydia, they are only infectious from the mouth. They would have to give oral sex in order to transmit it.

They could also have it genitally, though, if the person they got it from had it orally and genitally. If you think you have an STI anywhere, you should get tested and treated before having any kind of sexual contact with someone else.

To find out if you have something orally, you will need oral testing. A urine test will not detect oral infections.

Thank you, I do have them both orally but not genitally. I just wanted to know if I could pass them on via my genitals in that case but it seems not. Thank you
How do you know you have them both orally? Have you been tested? Are you being treated?
Yes tested and booked in to get treatment, it was a surprise to have both I must say.
Okay, make sure you get a shot and oral meds.

I'm not sure they are reading your results correctly, but most often, when you have gonorrhea, they'll treat for chlamydia just in case, so it's okay. I hope you've been treated by now.
