Oral Sex and Sore Throat

About two weeks ago I gave the guy I'm seeing oral sex.  About two days later I started to have a sore throat and swollen glands.  It hurt to swallow, it seemed that i had to much salyva in my mouth and when I talked I didn't sound right.  I took medicine for it which did nothing and then thought it might just be allergies.  It started to go away and now it is back. I was wondering if it could be cased by giving the guy oral. I haven't gone to the doctor yet cause I don't have health insurance and didn't get payed yet...was wondering if you could help and let me know if it might be a STD?  Thanks!!

Like i said a very small chance. Your symptoms can be many things.

To get a STD through oral sex is slim.
