Oral Std question

Hi,

I had performed oral on a male and started having drainage in my throat.  Went to a doctor who thought it was sinus post nasal drip but gave me a shot of rocephin (ceftriaxone) as I was going out of town by time test results would come in.   My question is I received oral 3 days later.  A little discomfort at tip of urethea but this could be because I have been checking for discharge.  Only I see is when I milk my penis in the morning and a very small amount of clear (sticky) is visible.  I am guessing this might just be mucous or small amount of precum since I wake with a hard on every morning.

My question is if the rocephin shot would have protected against any potential gnorrhea std 3 days later.
