Oral sex sti risks

A little more than a week ago (around 3 AM of Wednesday 6/29), I met up with a guy, relatively young (early 20s? I'm almost 19 if ages are important), from Craigslist I gave him unprotected oral sex - a very dumb decision, I'm well aware. I did deepthroat, but I didn't bring him to completion. There were a couple times when he tried to force it deeper, and it caused a bit of main around my tonsils - I'm hoping this may be relevant to later-mentioned symptoms. He had a few tough bumps (not tiny patches of many small bumps) around the edges of the head, but I looked closely and I didn't believe they looked like sores, they looked almost the same as the surrounding skin. He claimed he had no STD's. Before I went to bed, I washed out my mouth with Colgate peroxyl.

Later that day (the actual daytime of that Wednesday) I felt totally fine, aside from my throat still feeling odd from the experience. The next day was the same case, except at night my throat itched a bit. I usually use a dental pick to release food from tough spots in my teeth, but I accidentally grabbed that one instead of a clean pick and used it to try to clear my tonsils of debris that night, and it bled a bit. The day after that, I had a moderate sore throat, and I could see an excess of mucus on my tonsils - symptoms of tonsillitis, as I read. For the next two days, this mucus and sore throat were my main symptoms, with the intensity of my sore throat oscillating through the day and between the days. After these couple days, I experienced slight chills waking up and loss of appetite through most of the day, and when I checked my tonsils at the end of the day, I noticed little dark deposits in the mucus on my tonsils - almost resembling dirt. I have tried removing this mucus and the dirt, but they don't come off easily with conventional methods used for this. For the past couple of days, this mucus has been my only remaining symptom, as the sore throat ceased two days ago.

Apologies for the long narrative. So, given the circumstances, what am I at risk for, concerning STI's? Could my symptoms likely just be a bout of tonsillitis, caused by irritation from the painful thrusting from my oral sex episode or perhaps my accidental use of a filthy and unclean dental pick on my tonsils; or should I be concerned that I am infected with some sort of STI? Does the given time-scale match the symptom/incubation periods for any prominent oral STI's? I understand that the best course of action is to get tested, and I plan to do so as soon as I can, but in the meantime all I can do is research and seek help from forums. Really, I would greatly appreciate an analysis of my situation and symptoms, so I can understand what caused them, whether I'm possibly getting myself worked up over something minor, and what exactly I'm at risk of, and if possible any at-home things I can do to improve my situation.

Many, many thanks for any and all thoughtful replies, I'm extremely worried here, and just want some sort of experienced opinion instead of my worrisome worst-case style research.

Hi, very low risk activity and symptoms of std,s in the throat, like Gono would be an infection with white puss appearing about a week later. Next time use a condom to avoid these concerns.

Sorry, last EDIT I promise: he said that at one point he was close to finishing, but didn't. The whole experience lasted about 20 minutes. Again, sorry.

SORR, one more EDIT: when the sore throat was still an issue, my right tonsil was swollen. I don't know if this is pertinent to any possible conditions.

EDIT: I hardly ever get tonsil stones, and now it appears that my crypts are full of... something. Perhaps not full tonsil stones, but some off-white material, and it doesn't easily come out. Also, the crypts are ever so slightly swollen, which wasn't the case before all of this happened.
