I keep getting exposed to what turn out to be non-specific bacteria (bugs) and get the usual symptoms of some discharge, itchiness, and ,mild discomfort when peeing.
I've had several courses of anti-bs in the last few months but prior to this also had a full STD screen which was negative for everything.
Both female partners have told me they are clean based on regular check ups. However, on both occasions, 8 weeks into the relationship, I've come down with the above symptoms.
Is it possible I am still infected and the anti-bs have not worked or is it that my partners have symptomless infections that are not picked up on their STD screens.
Getting really frustrated with this, not to mention feeling like I'm always at the Doctors getting anti-bs - as I don't like taking multiple rounds of them.
Please help! any advice appreciated.
If your doctor isn't an STD expert, find one. Your local health department STD clinic (or its equivalent in other countries, such as a GUM clinic in the UK, a Sexual Health Centre in Australia, etc). Or a local infectious diseases specialist.
Good luck.
