Penis Bump

I have a small flesh/white colored bump on the shaft of my penis. It started out very small three years ago, thought it was maybe a pimple or blocked pore. About a month ago I noticed it had grown so I went to my doctor and he said it looked "wartish". He acted like it was nothing to be to concerned about and prescribed Aldara. I have been using it for about a month now and it has not had any effect on the bump, it has not grown or become any smaller. I am 46 and have been married since 1988 and have not had sex with anyone other than my wife since 1986. What do you think this could be. As far as I know my wife hasn't had sex with anyone but me.

Thats never fun. I had what looked like a wart on the side of my scrotum for about a year before I seen the Dr for it. He told me it was a "skin tag" and it wasnt a big deal, but he would remove it if I wanted. I set up an appointment for the next month to get removed and told my wife of 8 years all about it. She had not previously noticed it. At the precedure my docs boss said "that is a genital wart, not a skin tag". They removed it and I got to go home and tell my wife. Il just say things got really bad at home for a while.
Two weeks later my dr called and said the biopsy showed it was just a common wart, not the STD kind. Saved my marriage in the nick of time. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, you should follow up with your doctor.  We can't see it and pictures are not permitted.  If you don't trust your doctor's analysis, seek a second opin.ion
