Please HELP...

I suffer from bad anxiety and have had fears over STDs before.

A few days ago, I had dessert with a friend of mine at a restaurant - we shared the dessert and her fork touched a part of the dessert that I ate. I normally do not share food etc with anyone because of my anxiety and phobia BUT for some reason this time I did and am now paying a HUGE price for it!

The friend who I shared the dessert with is VERY sexually active and has had numerous boyfriends - I also believe that she may have an STD.

Is it possible to have contracted an STD by this encounter??

I'm sorry if I seem so stupid and irrational, this is a real fear of mine and I can't sleep. I'm sorry.

No, there is absolutely no risk here.

I do hope you are getting help for your anxiety and phobias.  If you aren't, I strongly encourage it.

Good luck,
AJ

Ever since this encounter with my friend, I have felt like a small part of my lip is tingling or burning BUT there is nothing visible at all and I wonder if this is a reaction of my anxiety...
