Possible Case of Std ?

I recently performed oral sex on my boyfriend for the first time. Neither of us had done it before. Then, a week and a half later, i gave him oral again, and the day after, woke up with a slightly sore throat. Throughout the day i got an incredibly high fever. My throat did not feel too bad, and two days later my fever has gone down. However, my glands are still up and my tonsils are swollen, and there are a few large red bumps on the back of my tongue. There is very mild discomfort when i swallow.  These are the same sort of symptons i have had before when i have caught a virus or something like that, however, the timing worries me.  I am worried i may have an std. Does this sound possible from my description?

Also, when you look at your tongue closely for the first time - at the back of your tongue as it disappears down into your throat, you will find a line of large bumps from left to right.  These can look a bit alarming if you haven't noticed them before and lots of people only notice them for the first time at times like this.  Perhaps this is what is happening with you.  If this is what you are seeing then you should not be concerned because they are meant to be there.

So your boyfiend has never had anykind of sex other then this oral you gave him if I understand correctly? If so then he can't have a STD to pass.
